Yes, that’s the follow-up agent. As soon as a record moves (new message, note, meeting, deal stage), it sets a follow-up date on it if it has none, by reading your conversations: Gmail emails, LinkedIn messages, meetings and their notes, notes and calls.
- it starts from commitments made (“I’ll get back to you Thursday”);
- it waits for a meeting already scheduled;
- it looks at who is waiting on whom and the usual rhythm of your exchanges;
- on a deal, it takes the stage and the expected close date into account.
A date set by the agent shows a purple sparkle on the record, with its reason. It never touches a date or rhythm you chose, and it sends nothing: it only sets the date.
For a specific record, open the follow-up menu and click Ask AI: it suggests a date and its reason, which you apply in one click. The agent can be turned off in Settings → Follow-up agent (owners and admins). It is included in every plan.
